HSE Two Day Requalification – for those who already hold a current 4 day First Aid at Work qualification

Course Content:

• Care of the unconscious casualty
• Method of resuscitation
• Asphyxia
• Wound & bleeding
• Bandaging/slings
• Head and chest injuries
• Fractures
• Poisons
• Burns and scalds
• Epilepsy
• Diabetes
• Heart conditions
• Contents of a first aid box
• Accident reporting
• All other work related accidents/illnesses
• An opportunity to practise techniques through various realistic scenarios

 

 

• Successful candidates will be awarded the HSE First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for 3 years and will be required to undertake both written and practical assessments as part of the course.
