Defibrillation First Aider Responder – 4 hour course

Course Content:

 

• The defibrillator past and present

 

• Revision of CPR and respiratory arrest

 

• Techniques to provide basic life support.  The importance of the chain of survival.  The Good Samaritan Law.

 

• Using a defibrillator

 

• An opportunity to practise techniques through various realistic scenarios

 

• Procedures required after attending a casualty  (Report forms and cleaning your equipment).

 

Note: participants must hold a valid 4 day First Aid at Work certificate to take part in the course.

Successful candidates will be awarded certificate on achievement
